What is it like working with you?
Clients describe me as flexible, efficient, communicative, well-prepared, and easy to work with. You can read more about me here. Can you work from a recording? Yes! And because I can stop and restart the recording, it is one of my favorite ways of working. While not every event is appropriate for recorded material, when it is an option, I highly recommend it. You will be given a quick turnaround, and you may also submit your listening points as well. Can you work from our event notes? Yes! It is important that we discuss how the content will be organized so that I can make sense of it in a meaningful way. It is common for me to work from written material from breakout groups, and there is no reason why I can't cover plenary session material this way as well. This also works for timelines and journey maps. Do you do drafts? Many groups that I work with use acronyms and program names that are second nature to you, but may be new material for me. I find that delivering a black and white loose draft can be an effective way to deliver a superior product. While this is not a true iterative process, like graphic design, it does give you an opportunity to feel confident about the final product I will be returning to you and point out any areas you would like altered, within reason. If this is something you are interested in, it needs to be quoted as part of the work. Keep in mind that I am hired for my unique third party observational skills. If you would like a fully iterative process, that would need to be quoted as a design job rather than a Visual Notes job. What are some unique ways we can use the Graphic Recordings after the event? If you're working digitally can your work be presented on a screen? *I am only working remotely at this time* I project my work on a Zoom screen for a remote meeting, or a hybrid meeting.
